Using energy-efficient products using smart materials

Energy reduction percentages exceeding 50% have been achieved by a combination of smarter mechatronic subsystem design, usage of commonly available energy-efficient motors and belts, and tuning of control systems to switch off subsystems under no-load conditions.

After systems are installed, we support our customers by giving advise to them on ways to save energy in their operations and by enabling new developments that further reduce the environmental impact of the installed systems.

We have already achieved first results in line with the cradle to cradle® philosophy in our products, using smart materials. These products should outperform the existing in terms of energy usage, materials usage, durability, price and total cost of ownership.

Safe and ergonomic workplaces

Our customers clearly support our ambition to develop an entire range of ergonomic material handling solutions. We both strive for a safe and ergonomic workplace for their employees.
